Swiss Re, BIC to Provide Insurance for SMEs
The Vietnam Development and Investment Banking Insuring Ltd. Co (BIC) and Swiss Reinsurance Company (Swiss Re) have signed a cooperation deal to offer insurance packages for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Under the agreement, Swiss Re will support BIC to develop the SME Insurance Package.
BIC plans to begin offering the SME Insurance Package in the second quarter of 2009 at Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) branches and transaction points and within the BIC network. (Investment)
