Viet Rice Co. Wins Deal to Supply Rice to Australia, New Zealand Supermarkets
The Viet Rice Co. Ltd under the Gentraco JSC has inked a deal with the Oriental Merchant group to export rice to Australia and New Zealand supermarkets, the company’s official said.
Nguyen Trung Kien, general director of the Gentraco, said under the deal with the group a big retail business in Asian and Australian regions, the company will export 250,000 tons of rice.
The director said the Viet Rice will sign contracts with Mekong Delta farmers to buy fragrant rice for export under the Miss Can Tho and White Stork brand names.
The Viet Rice is now located in Long Thanh 2 village, Thot Not district of Cam Tho City. (The Labor, Countryside Today)
