ADB Approves US$72 Mln for Vietnam Infrastructure
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a credit worth US$72 million for infrastructure development in Vietnam’s Thanh Hoa province, 150 kilometers south of Hanoi.
The loan has a 32-year maturity and interest rate of 1 per cent/year for the first eight years and 1.5 per cent interest rate/year for the rest of the term, an official from the bank said.
The city’s infrastructure development project costs US$118 million.
Besides, the bank will also grant US$2 million to help upgrade a water environment project in Thanh Hoa city.
