Vietnam to Invest VND67.34T in Fishery Development by 2020

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has announced Vietnam’s fishery development strategy by 2020 which will cost around VND67.34 trillion, local media reported.
 
The sum will be spent on carrying out 20 programs, including developing stable aquatic product exploitation, protecting and developing aquatic resource and developing science technology for fishery.
 
The ministry said target at $7 billion in seafood export revenue in 2020, with average growth rate of 3.15% yearly; and aquatic output at 6.5 million tons.
 
Vietnam is now among top ten seafood exporters in the world, with products being exported to 150 countries and territories worldwide. (The Labor, Vietnam & World Economy)
