Vietnam-Thailand Trade to Hit US$10Bln in 2010
Vietnam and Thailand are likely to realize the set target of boosting bilateral trade to US$10 billion in 2010, said Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during his meeting with Thailand’s outgoing ambassador to Vietnam Kittiphong Na Ranong May 18.
In 2008, the two-way trade hit almost US$6.2 billion, up 31 per cent on-year.
Vietnam’s key exports to Thailand include electronics goods, crude oil, coal, seafood and peanuts. Meanwhile, it imports plastic materials, motorbike components, petroleum, machinery and equipment and textiles and garments. (Trade & Industry)
