Vietnam reportedly reaped US$108.7 million from goods exports to Russia in the first four months of this year, down 64.7 per cent on-year.

The country’s export decrease was triggered by the plunge of seafood exports, the magazine said without giving details.

In order to further boost Vietnam’s exports to Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Promotion Department and the Vietnam Trade Office in Russia will jointly organize an exhibition of Vietnamese export products in Moscow from September 15-18.

During President Triet’s visit to Russian last October, Vietnamese and Russian leaders agreed to increase the two-way trade to US$3 billion in 2010 and US$10 billion in 2015.
