Vietnam, Russia Enhance Cooperation in Energy
Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai on June 26 held in Vung Tau City a reception to Mr Svelitsky S. Iurievic, Deputy Energy Minister of the Russian Federation, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai hailed the traditional and cooperative ties between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in many fields, especially energy, of which Vietsovpetro is a vivid symbol.
The host leader suggested the fine relations be boosted through petroleum projects and other economic activities.
Russia always attaches attention to consolidating ties with Vietnamese enterprises, stated Mr Svelitsky S.Iurievic, expecting to see stronger support from the Vietnamese Government for closer bilateral cooperation amidst the global economic turmoil.
Both the host and the guest were unanimous in realizing some major projects on petroleum and manufacturing mechanics.
