Standing Deputy PM Welcomes Chinese Ambassador
Receiving Chinese Ambassador Sun Guoqiang, Standing Deputy PM Nguyen Sinh Hung reiterated that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China is an invaluable property which should be preserved and brought into full play.
Hailing China as one of the countries making great efforts to pull the world economy out of the crisis, Deputy PM Hung noted that Vietnam has also actively coped with the global economic turmoil and its national economy begins to get back on track.
The Chinese Ambassador took the occasion to thank the Vietnamese Party, Government and people for their good sentiments to China, strongly believing that the bilateral relationship between the two countries will further flourish in the future.
He congratulated Vietnam’s economic achievements, praising the Vietnamese Government’s efforts and effective solutions to deal with the economic crisis.
The guest pledged to do his utmost to cement and deepen the strategic partnership for comprehensive cooperation between China and Vietnam.
