Vietnamese Shoemakers to Visit Int'l Fair in Shanghai in Early September
A delegation of Vietnamese shoemakers will attend an international shoe fair in Shanghai, China September 2-5, according to the Shoes and Leather Association of Ho Chi Minh City.
The fair, the largest of its kind in Asia, will display leather shoes, materials for shoe-making, advanced machines and the technology used in the industry.
In the first seven months of 2009, Vietnam’s leather and footwear sector earned US$2.46 billion from shipping products abroad, down 9.7 per cent against the same period last year. (Investment)
