Vinashin Affiliate Signs US$17.2M Contract with Indonesia Firm
Nha Trang Shipbuilding Industry Co. has recently inked a US$17.2 million contract to build two-12,900DWT ships for the Indonesia Maritime Transport Company.
The ship, which is 127-meters long and 16-meters wide, will have two engines with a capacity of 2,170 CV.
The Nha Trang shipyard, an affiliate of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry group (Vinashin), will transfer the first ship to its Indonesian partner in February and the second in May 2011. (Vietnam Economic Times)
