Vietnam Southern Provinces Seeking PM’s Approval to Build VND6.6T Road

Authorities of the two southern provinces of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Dong Nai are seeking the prime minister’s approval to kick off construction of a VND6.6 trillion (US$370.495 million) road.
 
The 21.3-kilometer road will connect Cai Mep container port in Tan Thanh district in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and Phuoc An port in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province.
 
The road will also link the port system and industrial parks along Cai Mep-Thi Vai River in Tan Thanh district.
 
Construction on the project will be implemented into two phases with the first slated from 2009 and 2012 and the second from 2013 to 2015. (Investment)
