DHL Opens New Service Centre in Hanoi

DHL has reinforced its commitment to the Vietnam express and logistics market with the recent opening of its US$2 million state of the art Service Centre in Hanoi. The new facility will offer best-in-class air express services and an enhanced pick up and delivery capability to customers, featuring the latest pickup times of any Express company in Hanoi. It will include a comprehensive DHL Service Point to meet the needs of account customers and walk in customers alike.

 

The Service Centre is located on Pham Hung Road, and offers DHL Express services to its customers in Hanoi and the surrounding areas. The setting up of the Service Centre is in anticipation of the continued strong growth that Vietnam is predicting in the years to come.

 

The facility has a warehouse space of 2,000 sqm with a drive in facility which allows DHL’s vehicle fleet to load and unload customer’s shipments from within the facility, protecting them from adverse weather conditions. The fully automated conveyer system eliminates manual handling and has the capacity to process 300 packages per hour. The facility boasts a state–of-the-art security system which includes close circuit television, access control, motion & beam detectors and alarm systems to meet all international standards.
