Vietnam Buys US$21.77M Worth of Timber from New Zealand in H1, up 3.23%
Vietnam imported US$21.77 million worth of timber products from New Zealand in the first half of this year, up 3.23% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Finance said.
Between January and June, Vietnam imported 101,000 cubic meters of pine timbers valued at US$18.28 million, up 33% compared with the same period last year.
In the first six months, the Southeast Asian country purchased US$1.76 million worth of MDF wood from New Zealand, down 23% from a year earlier. (Market Daily)
