Vietnam Export Value Projected to Rise 6% to $62.54B in 2010
Vietnam is forecast to export $62.54 billion worth of goods in 2010, up 6% from the estimated export value of $59 billion for 2009, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Bui Xuan Khu said in a meeting with the National Assembly’s Economic Committee on Sept 18.
The country is projected to import $75 billion of goods next year, up 7.11% against the forecast import spending for this year, Bien said.
Vietnam’s trade gap is estimated to rise to $12.5 billion in 2010, up from the projected figure of $11 billion this year. (Trade & Industry)
