ANZ Vietnam Allowed to Launch Factoring Service
Governor Nguyen Van Giau of the State Bank of Vietnam, the country’s central bank, signed a decision on Oct. 15, allowing ANZ Bank (Vietnam) Limited to launch factoring service.
Under the Decision No 2355/QD-NHNN, ANZ Vietnam is permitted to carry out factoring service in the domestic market and in field of export import payment activities in line with the current regulations.
The decision takes effect as of the signing date and is an un-separated part of the establishment and operation license No 268/GP-NHNN dated October 9, 2008 granted to Australia New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ).
ANZ Vietnam has got permission from the central bank to double its registered capital to VND2 trillion in 2009. (SBV)
