Vietnam to Target 6.5% GDP Growth to US$106B Next Year

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung delivered a note statement at National Assembly’s one month-long session Oct 20, targeting a 6.5% annualized growth to VND1,931.3 trillion (US$106 billion) next year.
 
Exports revenues are set to grow 6% next year, up from 2009; industrial production and construction are set to expand 7% and services are poised to grow 7.5%, PM Dung noted in the statement.
 
The total investments will account for 41.5% of GDP, Dung added.
 
State budget deficit will be VND125.5 trillion, or 6.5% of GDP and inflation will be capped at 7% next year.
