Southeast Asia Largest Float Glass Plant Operates in Central Vietnam
Chu Lai Float Glass JSC started operating a float glass plant worth $100 million in Quang Nam province in central Vietnam on Feb. 22, the largest and most modern of its kind in Southeast Asia.
The plant located in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone is capable of producing 900 tons of products per day, meeting Japanese standard of JISR 3020-1996.
The company targets to market its first products with the depth of between 4 mm and 22 mm in April.
Up to 70% of the plant’s products will be sold domestically and the rest will be exported. (Labor)
