Vinashin Affiliate Delivers Car Transport Vessel to Israeli Firm
Ha Long Shipbuilding Company on April 29 handed over a vessel which can transport 4,900 cars to Israel’s Ray Shipping Company, the largest of its kind built in Vietnam.
The ship named Victory Leader was designed by Italian Naval Progetti Design Institute under supervision of Norwegian DNV Register of Vessels.
The vessel, which is 185.6m long, 32.26m wide and 38.91m high, can travel at 19.8 nautical miles per hour. It has a basketball court, a gymnasium, a swimming pool and 13 decks, of which 11 are for automobiles.
Late March, Ha Long Shipbuilding Company handed over a 53,000-ton cargo ship to German’s Orange Ocean Company.
