PetroVietnam Signs 4 More Oil, Gas Contracts Year-to-date

The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has signed an additional four oil and gas exploration and production contracts so far this year, comprising three for domestic operations and one abroad.
 
The group has clinched three oil and gas cooperation agreements with state oil firms of Azerbaijan, the U.S. and Uzbekistan and agreements for future cooperation with Gazprom and Zarubeznheft for operations in Vietnam, Russia and third countries.
 
The firm has been carrying out 57 domestic oil and gas contracts and 22 overseas contracts in 13 countries worldwide while it has so far signed 49 cooperation agreements with partners all over the world.
 
PetroVietnam produced 9.98 million tons of oil equivalent from 6 million tons of crude oil and 3.98 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the first five months of this year.
 
This year, the group expects to produce 23.58 million tons of oil equivalent this year, up 2.53% from its earlier full-year target. (Labourer)
