Domestic Consultant Gets At Most VND25 Million/Month Salary

On June 10, 2010, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs issued the Circular No. 18/2010/TT-BLDTBXH to stipulate wages for domestic consultants working as package contract staffs in State-funded projects.

 

The highest monthly salary is VND25 million for a Vietnamese consultant who have at least 15-year experience and holds university degrees upwards. A monthly payment of at most VND20 million is for a domestic consultant with 10-15 years of experience. VND10 million a month will be paid for a Vietnamese consultant with 5-10 years of consulting experience. And, a consultant will get only VND5 million a month if he graduates the university and has 3-5 years of experience.

 

Exceptions are also allowed for special packages and the payment will be decided by the investors.
