The Ministry of Construction said that the Hanoi master planning project would be submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval in late September.
The State Assessment Council required the ministry to coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee to direct participating consortiums to acquire opinions from the public to complete the plan before sending to the Government. Earlier, in August, the municipality proposed the ministry not build a road linking the West Lake with Ba Vi.
On September 6, the city changed its mind in building the West Lake - Ba Vi road because it helps beautify the space.

However, in a written comment on the Hanoi planning project sent to the Central Party Committee, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations said that the road lacked scientific basis and surged the Government to turn it down.
