Vietnam Earns $5.079B from Footwear Exports in 2010: GSO

Vietnam is estimated to have earned $5.079 billion from footwear exports in 2010, posting an on-year increase of 24.9%, the General Statistic Office said.
 
In December, the country has exported $520 million worth of the footwear products, up 4.84% from November.
 
Vietnam, the world’s fourth largest footwear exporter, earned $4.02 billion from footwear exports in 2009.
 
Vietnamese shoes and leather products such as bags, wallets, belts are shipped to 50 countries nationwide.
 
The plan aims to raise Vietnam’s footwear exports to $9.1 billion in 2015 and $21 billion in 2025. (GSO)
