PM Okays Fund for Free Migration
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung instructed the Ministry of Finance to allocate VND209 billion from the central provisional fund set aside for 2011 to support Central Highlands provinces and Binh Phuoc province to carry out free migration projects.
Specifically, Kon Tum province will receive VND7 billion; Gia Lai, VND23 billion; Dak Lak, VND89 billion; Dak Nong, VND25 billion; Lam Dong, VND32 billion; and Binh Phuoc, VND33 billion.
People’s Committees of beneficiary provinces are responsible for managing and using the fund and mobilising other sources of finance for their migration projects in 2011.
