Saigon Newport Inaugurates Tan Cang - Sa Dec Terminal

Saigon Newport Corporation hosted a ceremony to inaugurate Tan Cang - Sa Dec Terminal, a meeting with customers in the Mekong Delta region, and coordinated with the People’s Committee of Dong Thap province to organise a trade promotion conference in the province. These events caught the participation of Dong Thap provincial authorities, Saigon Newport’s officials, shipping companies, shipping agents and companies inside and outside the province, notably 200 investors engaged in various fields like seaport, waterways transportation, logistics, finance, banking, insurance and industrial investment.

 

Attendants shared the same standpoint that local potentials, advantages, natural and social conditions in couple with preference policies are a strong magnet to investors. They also toured a concurrent trade fair and visited industrial zones in Cao Lanh City and Sa Dec Town. The tours evidenced internal strengths and opportunities in Dong Thap province in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general.
