Being a subsidiary of Vinacomin and one of typical businesses of the mining sector, the Southwest Da Mai joint Stock Company not only completes its business task but also do well the security and defense work as well as take the lead in emulation movements of the sector. The company’s volume of products has being increasing while infrastructures have been improving.
 
Caring life of workers
 
To create the most favorable conditions for workers and increase the products’ quality, the company has step by step renewed technologies and mechanized the production. The income and life of workers and staffs have been improved significantly with average income per capita in 2010 at VND7.5 million per month. Over the past year, over 129 technical workers of the company were promoted and 93 workers were raised salary on time. In parallel with sending laborers to universities, colleges and vocational training schools, Da Mai JS Company also sends its staffs to sort-term professional training courses at Vinacomin.    
 
With the team of over 1,000 employees, Da Mai JS Company also attaches special importance to the security and order aspect. The company has done well in protecting its assets as well as natural resources. To make staffs closer and encourage them, the company often organizes inner sport competitions such as football, table tennis, badminton and chess. The company also holds many music and art festivals to celebrate big anniversaries.
 
By doing that, Da Mai JS Company has promoted its internal strength, which is based on the team of employees to raise the production and business efficiency.
