Documents on Competition Cases Allowed to Be Submitted via Email
The Government will allow businesses to submit their documents on cases related to competition through Internet from February 1, 2012. This is an important content of Decree 119/2011/ND-CP issued on December 16 by the Government.
Under the decree, besides the form of direct submission, documents related to merge and acquisition (M&A) and joint ventures among companies; reports of sides which join competition negotiations, M&A and joint venture activities or complaints can be sent to competition management agencies via email through a copy with legal e-signature of representatives.
The reply documents of competition management agencies on M&A and joint venture activities must be sent to business registration agencies and those which are in charge of these activities in line with laws and also to the sides which participate in these activities.
