Vietnam Enhances Cooperation with Japanese Businesses

Dr Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), recently hosted a meeting in Hanoi with Nippon Keidanren, or the Japan Business Federation, on its official working visit to Vietnam from March 4 to 6, 2012.
 
Mr Loc appreciated the visiting delegation and expressed his glad to meet large Japanese enterprises - strategic partners of Vietnam. He also expressed his admiration for Japan’s efforts to deal with tsunami aftermaths.
 
He added that Vietnam attained outstanding economic growth in the first two months and it is believed to achieve its economic indicators in 2012. The Government of Vietnam is seeking high-tech and hopes Japan will assist in this field.
 
A Japanese representative said Japanese companies hope to cooperate with Vietnam in high-tech industry and supporting industries, aiming towards green growth strategy.
