VCCI to Boost Vietnam - Slovakia Business Links

VCCI Vice President, Dr Doan Duy Khuong, on March 6 had a meeting with Ambassador of Slovak Republic to Vietnam Peter Svitek, and Mr Igor Junas, Chairman of Bratislava Regional Chamber under the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to discuss measures to support enterprises to boost business relations between Vietnam and Slovak. 
 
With strong foundations of the traditional cooperation relation of the two countries, the two sides agreed to utilize and develop potential and advantages of each country, and speed up trade and investment promotion activities of the two countries’ business community.
 
Mr Igor Junas proposed ideas to sign a cooperation agreement between the two chambers of commerce in sharing business information database, business matching, and strengthening the bilateral business cooperation.
 
At the meeting, Dr. Khuong agreed to conduct concrete cooperation activities. Especially, VCCI will organize a trade mission with around 60 delegates of Vietnamese enterprises to Slovak this June for market surveys. He also urged to carry out more activities of Vietnam-Slovak Friendship Association in the coming time such as business information exchanges and business matching.  
 
According to Ambassador Peter Svitek, Vietnamese enterprises are facing difficulties in applying for visa to Slovak due to strict regulations, however, he will try to work on this issue to create more favorable conditions for business delegations to Slovak.
