Trade Aspects in Electronic Transaction Law Discussed
A seminar on "Trade aspects in the Electronic Transaction Law" was held on August 20 at the Duxton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City by the Ministry of Trade with the participation of representatives from enterprises, the Ministry of Defence, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The seminar discussed the electronic transaction draft law that will be submitted to the first session of the National Assembly in 2005. Representatives of enterprises at the seminar appreciated the feasibility of the law, and affirmed that it was necessary to have the e-commerce transaction law particularly as the country is gradually integrating into the world economy.
