Additional VND63.5Bln for HCM Hi-tech Zone
The head of the Ho Chi Minh Hi-tech Zone, Pham Chinh Truc, recently granted an investment license and incentives to the Telecom Joint Stock Company (VTC) to spend VND63.5 billion (US$4.07 million) on building three factories in the zone.
Work will be kicked off in early 2005 and the factories, specialising in producing memory cards, equipment for switch boards and multi-service information systems, will be operational by the beginning of 2006.
