Outstanding Entrepreneurs Honoured for Contributions
A ceremony was recently held in Hanoi, honouring 35 outstanding businesspeople who have made significant contributions to a project supporting youngsters in business start-ups and with their career development plans.
The individuals being honoured have actively participated in both online and offline training for the project, providing over 100 hours of input in soft skills, communication skills, interviewing, team building, marketing and sales.
The project, which was launched by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee in 2009, has so far provided benefits to over 16,000 young people and involved the participation of more than 1,000 experts, entrepreneurs, and managers
In addition, the Vietnam Youth Federation (VYF) has developed a support network with nearly 100 successful entrepreneurs, who will always make themselves available to provided free consulting and counseling services. This provides more opportunities for the entrepreneurs to impart their own specific experience and knowledge to the ‘new-starts’.
More information on the project can be found at the VYF internet portal www.thanhgiong.vn that draws almost 20,000 online visits every week.
