Conference on IT Applications to Natural Resources and Environment Fields

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will organise the Conference on Information Technology Applications to Natural Resources and Environment Fields in November 2012. The event will be held in both northern and southern regions.

 

The objectives of the conference are to promote the implementation of IT application strategies in the field of natural resources and environment; enhance experience exchange in IT applications to natural resources and environment in centrally run provinces and cities; and disseminate some new documents on IT application investment mechanisms and policies.

 

On that basis, the ministry will grasp the needs and obstacles to have best solutions to promotion and development of IT applications to the industry, especially at provincial and municipal levels.

 

The conference also reviews the 5-year promotion of IT application and development for the sake of natural resources and environment (2008 - 2012) while accelerating the implementation of some key IT application projects for natural resource and environment sectors.
