Fishing Output Expected at 447,000 Tonnes in Jan-Feb

Fishing output was estimated at 447,000 tonnes in the first two months of 2013, up one per cent year on year. Particularly, maritime commercial fishing accounted for 425,000 tonnes and inland fishing was 22,000 tonnes.

 

Haiphong fishing output reported to catch 6,260 tonnes, Thanh Hoa with 6,130 tonnes, Nghe An with 6,814 tonnes, Quang Ngai with 14,105 tonnes, Binh Dinh with 12,700 tonnes (including 1,303 tonnes of tuna), Phu Yen with 7,300 tonnes (including 1,500 tonnes of tuna); and Kien Giang with 68,275 tonmes.
