Vietnam Telecomp 2004 and Vietnam Electronics 2004 to Take Place in Hanoi

The 10^th International Exhibition on telecommunications, information technology (IT) and post (Vietnam Telecomp 2004) and the International Exhibition on Electronic Products (Vietnam Electronics 2004), a convergence of telecommunications, IT and electronics, will be held at Hanoi’s Giang Vo Exhibition Centre between November 9 and 13, 2004.

Vietnam’s economy in general and the Vietnam telecommunications market in particular have been performing strongly. At the exhibitions this year, apart from the pavilion of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT), a number of Vietnamese post and telecommunications businesses and more than 100 showcases including such famous names as Advantech AMT, Alcatel, Arianespace, Asia Wiring System, Cisco, Comvik, Nokia, Samsung, UT Starcom, amongst others from 16 countries and territories, will be on show. As many as 20 Vietnamese enterprises will join in the event. The displays will focus on products and services including network equipment and technology, satellite information, broad-band solutions, mobile services, cable equipment and other accessories.

Vietnam Telecomp 2004 will also draw the participation of national exhibitions of China and Singapore. Notably, it is the first time Vietnam Telecomp will present awards and prizes for the best showcase and the most advanced technology or application. Four forums, seminars and technical shows relating to IT and telecommunications will also take place during the exhibition.
