Cat Lai Port Changes Container Lift Charges
Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) on August 5 announced to reapply container lift charges in Cat Lai Port based on the Domestic Tariff No. 536/QD-TC-KHKD dated May 4, 2012.
SNP said container backlog at Cat Lai Port increases due to many objective reasons, thus affecting ship-freeing productivity and port service quality.
To encourage customers to take their goods early to avoid parking occupancy and maintain stable overall operation, on July 1, 2014, SNP issued the Notice No. 1095/TCT-KHKD on adjustments to container lifting charges at Cat Lai Port from July 15, 2014.
With the support of authorities, the cooperation of customers and the effort of SNP, operations at Cat Lai Port have returned to normal situation.
