Vietnam Signs 74 Double Tax Avoidance Agreements

The General Department of Taxation recently released Official Document No 2264/TCT-TCHQ to update effective double tax avoidance agreements and protocols to which Vietnam is a signatory.
 
Accordingly, Vietnam has signed 74 double tax avoidance agreements and three protocols with other countries and territories around the world including Australia, France, Thailand, Russia, Sweden, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Singapore, India, Hungary, Poland, the Netherlands, China, Denmark, Norway, Japan, Germany, Romania, Malaysia, Laos, Belgium, Luxembourg, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Switzerland, Mongolia, Bulgaria, Italy, Belarus, Czech Republic, Canada, Indonesia, Taipei, Algeria, Myanmar, Finland, the Philippines, Iceland, North Korea, Cuba, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Spain, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Brunei, Ireland, Oman, Austria, Slovakia, Venezuela, Morocco, Hong Kong, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Mozambique, Kazakhstan, San Marino, Serbia, New Zealand, Palestine, East Uruguay, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Macedonia, Portugal, the United States and Estonia. Among 74 countries and territories with which Vietnam signed agreements on avoidance of double taxation, Singapore, Belgium and Hong Kong signed protocols on amendments to agreements.
