HCM City Sets up Real Estate Association

 

Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city in Vietnam, officially established a real estate association on January 31 to help boost the city’s property market and speed up housing projects.

 

The HCM City Real Estate Association, or HoREA, aims at gathering enterprises and individuals in real estate field to protect their proper business interests, contributing to the real estate market's development in Ho Chi Minh city, said Tran The Ngoc, director of the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

 

Through the association, businesses have opportunities to exchanges their experiences on investment, management and legal assistance. It will also help accelerate the implementation of up to 1,000 housing projects in the city.

 

The association currently has 300 members and is a member of the Vietnam Real Estate Association.
