Tax Sector Standardises 355 Administrative Procedures

A recent report by the Ministry of Finance said the General Department of Taxation has standardised and reduced the number of administrative procedures to 355 administrative procedures, a drop of 30 procedures over December 31, 2015.
 
The ministry directed the General Department of Taxation to review and perfect electronic tax refund processes and develop electronic refund scheme to enable at least 95 per cent of taxpayers will pay tax via electronic means by September 30, 2017 as stated in Resolution No. 19/NQ-CP.
 
Besides, the current electronic tax filing system has been deployed in all 63 provinces and cities in the country, with over 559,815 enterprises out of a total of 561,142 active enterprises registering to use it, accounting for 99.76 per cent. The system has received 33,974,697 electronic tax declaration forms. In the customs sector, the electronic customs declaration system continues to be applied to commercial exports and imports at all customs offices nationwide. Electronic Payment Gateway was officially launched at all 34 provincial/municipal customs departments. Nine categories of exports and imports have been reviewed and standardised, which are being imposed specialised administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Health. Administrative procedures concerning export and import are coded to serve the VNACCS/VCIS system.
 
Up to now, customs authorities have established 10 specialised inspection locations in eight provincial/municipal customs departments. The number of specialised inspection locations is expected to be doubled to 20 soon.
