Hai Phong Customs Aims to Record Budget Revenue of VND70 Trillion

With the results of State budget revenue so far exceeding VND60 trillion - the highest ever-, so although the year of 2019 hasn’t ended, it can be confirmed that this is a successful year of Hai Phong Customs Department in implementing the important political task. In particular, Hai Phong Customs will likely reach the record revenue of VND70 trillion in 2019.

According to updated preliminary statistics of the General Department of Customs, VND61,641.5 billion is the total budget revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department from the beginning of the year to November 21. This result increased by 30.19% over the same period of 2018, exceeding 29.72% of the yearly estimated target and reaching 97.84% of the whole year target assigned by the General Department of Customs (VND63 trillion).

Remarkably, although the year has not ended, this figure is the highest budget revenue collection result of Hai Phong Customs Department so far and it is the first time the unit has reached VND60 trillion.

With the above results, the daily average of Hai Phong Customs Department is VND192 billion. If this average level is maintained in the last 44 days of 2019, Hai Phong Customs Department will gain an additional VND8,448 billion. This is feasible because revenue collection by the Department is usually higher in the final months than the beginning of the year. Thus, by the end of 2019, the budget revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department is likely to reach a peak of VND70 trillion.
