Vietnam Computerworld Expo 2005

A press conference was held in Duxton, Ho Chi Minh City, on March 15, 2005 to introduce the 10^th international IT fair organised by International Data Group Vietnam (IDG), Ho Chi Minh IT Association (HCA) and VCCI. The fair will take place from 5th to 10th July, 2005 at the International Exhibition and Fair Centre, Ho Chi Minh City.

The number of participating companies has increased from 66 in 1966 to 183 in 2004 with 135 pavilions and 145,000 visitors. Famous companies such as IBM, Acer, Sony, FPT, and Seagate also participated. Twenty overseas Vietnamese companies took part in the fair.

Mr Le Thanh Tam, Director IDG Indochina, said that in 2005 the exhibition will be entitled “IT Overview - Vietnam Telecommunication 2005” with the participation of overseas Vietnamese.
