Three Price Assessment Criteria

The Ministry of Finance has recently issued Decision N0 24/2005/BTC on three criteria for price assessment, including market price which will act as a basis for asset evaluation, code of ethics for asset evaluation cadres, and standards for result reports and documents on asset evaluation.

Under the decision, the market price of an asset will be an estimated price in the market when evaluation is made, at which buyers are ready to buy and suppliers are ready to sell in an objective and independent transaction with normal trade conditions.

Market prices can be affirmed via information and data on assets, transferable prices of assets, which can be compared in the market, the utility and possibility of highest effectiveness and value of assets. The evaluation of assets' utility should be based on data on assets in the market and survey results.
