Contributions to Community Development Honoured

Organisations, enterprises, and individuals of all economic sectors in Vietnam with great contributions to Vietnam’s community development will have chance to be recognized and provided with the “For Community Development” Gold Cup that is scheduled to be presented in July 2006.

 

This is the second time the programme has been held with the aim of highlighting great contributions of excellent organisations, enterprises, and individuals to the community, strengthening and encouraging the development of the Vietnamese business community, as well as looking forward to the establishment of a business culture environment that is favourable for enterprises, according to the Organising Board.

 

The Organizing Board plans to present 120 gold cups this year instead of 62 of the first time in 2004.

 

The event is co-hosted by the Scientific Research Institute for Southeast Asia, the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Vietnam Federation of Labour, the Vietnam Union of Cooperatives, the Socio-economic Development Consultancy Institute for Rural and Mountainous Areas, and Hanoi Culture Company.
