Experience to Grow Up in Premier Educational Environment

With the “experiences to grow up” message, FPT Schools in Hau Giang equip students with knowledge using technology and innovation while fostering their intellect, spirit and physical strength. This project also aims to be a “new breeze” in developing high-quality human resources for Hau Giang and the region. Our reporter has an interview with Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, Vice Rector of FPT University and Director of FPT Schools, FPT Corporation.

As a leading education provider with a high-quality all-through school system, how has FPT Corporation enhanced local human resource development?

FPT Corporation has expanded its education system nationwide with the desire to provide high-quality human resources to meet development needs of localities. The deployment of FPT Schools and educational campuses in many provinces and cities not only helps improve training quality but also boosts socioeconomic development, expands the socialized education model, and meets the increasing learning demand.

FPT also links education with locally based socioeconomic development strategies. Leveraging its technological expertise, FPT Schools provide students with a strong foundation in AI, STEM and Robotics, preparing them for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. By integrating education with digital transformation and emerging technologies, FPT continues to drive national development.

The FPT Schools project in Hau Giang was recently inaugurated. Can you share its scale, activities and future development plans?

Inaugurated in January 2025, FPT Schools in Hau Giang exemplify the FPT Education system. Beyond Hau Giang, FPT Schools operate in key provinces and cities like Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Can Tho, Hue and Soc Trang, with plans for nationwide expansion.

FPT Schools in Hau Giang span over 5 ha and feature two academic buildings, two service buildings, a sports complex, a football field, landscaped outdoor areas and auxiliary facilities. The modern classrooms are fully equipped to support effective teaching and learning.

FPT Schools Hau Giang offer education at all three universal levels, with the first intake in September 2025 for grades 1, 2, 6, 7 and 10. In five years, enrollment is projected to reach 2,000 students.

The project will help create a high-quality, modern learning environment for students in Hau Giang and neighboring provinces, and meet innovation requirements in the 2018 universal education program, especially with many advanced and experiential contents. In the first year, the school will announce a scholarship program and many preferential policies for students in Hau Giang province to have equal educational opportunities and access to a modern learning environment.

What sets the FPT Schools project in Hau Giang apart from other schools in the area?

With the message of “experiences to grow up”, FPT Schools, in Hau Giang in particular, take the lead in creating diverse experiences in a high-quality educational environment. The schools not only equip students with knowledge, technological skills and creativity but also respect individuality, train their independence and empower them to explore and develop their holistic intelligence, spirit and physical strength.

The strength of FPT Schools is built on three distinct core programs. The Technology Program includes subjects on STEM, AI, Robotics and a series of annual technology events and competitions. The English & Global Competency Program is based on the Oxford International Curriculum along with international cultural and scientific exchange activities to help students equip themselves with global citizenship skills. The Personal Development Program, combined with clubs, extracurricular activities, and culturally rich subjects like Vovinam and traditional musical instruments, enables students to explore and develop their full potential.

What do you think about the investment environment in Hau Giang and the support of provincial and local agencies?

Since its inception, The FPT Schools project in Hau Giang has received strong policy support from provincial authorities, with coordination, consultation and facilitation from local agencies. All procedures, from investment approval to construction permits and establishment decisions, were completed efficiently and smoothly. This has further motivated us to successfully implement this educational project in Hau Giang province.

The appearance of FPT Schools Hau Giang is in line with the province's socioeconomic development policies and strategies. We hope that private education will be always supported to play an effective role in the local education ecosystem and provide an important source of intellectual labor to develop new economic and professional structures for the locality and the region.
