With the 2025 tourism season themed “Vinh Phuc – One Journey, a Thousand Experiences,” this year’s April 30th and May 1st holiday saw the Vinh Phuc tourism sector and local authorities hosting a wide array of vibrant cultural events and making thorough preparations to welcome visitors. The extended holiday period, from April 30 to May 4, enabled travel companies to design a variety of tours to the province, reaffirming Vinh Phuc as an attractive and popular tourist destination.

Flamingo Dai Lai Resort is a popular destination in Vinh Phuc province

During the five-day public holiday, the province welcomed an estimated 150,000 tourist arrivals, marking a 13% increase from the same period in 2024. Venus Hotel Tam Dao, Century Hotel Tam Dao and Flamingo Dai Lai Resort reported room occupancy rates of up to 90%.

Tourist sites across the province were well decorated and beautifully arranged to offer a fresh and appealing atmosphere of Vinh Phuc tourism to tourists.

To further introduce Vinh Phuc’s land, people, cultural identity, tourism products and potential to both domestic and international visitors, thus wooing more tourists and investors to explore and invest in tourism services, the Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion and Business Support Center has stepped up its communication and promotional efforts by participating in various cultural and tourism programs and events both inside and outside the province, aimed at stimulating demand, encouraging innovation and improving the quality of tourism promotion activities.

The province's tourism promotion and cooperation efforts have been accelerated through various concrete activities. Since early 2025, the center has carried out a branding program for Vinh Phuc tourism through such activities as designing a tourism logo and slogan for Vinh Phuc tourism and disseminating the brand identity of Vinh Phuc tourism across national and local media channels.

Additionally, the center has stepped up tourism promotion activities by organizing destination promotion conferences and fostering tourism cooperation with key markets like taking part in a tourism exhibition pavilion alongside northeastern provinces at the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival under the theme “Vinh Phuc - Four Seasons of Experience"; organizing tourism promotion conferences in Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Can Tho, Kien Giang and other localities in 2025; hosting exhibitions featuring culinary tourism and craft villages; and launching promotional events for tourism in the Red River Delta and surrounding areas in Vinh Phuc.

Moreover, integrating OCOP products (One Commune One Product) with tourism development has helped the province optimize investment resources. The province has encouraged businesses, cooperatives and local producers to invest in modern machinery, expand production, innovate product packaging and boost trade promotion. These efforts have raised locally distinctive products while contributing to elevate the profile of Vinh Phuc tourism.

Furthermore, the center has strongly intensified information technology application to tourism promotion which has continuously updated information and upgraded its website (dulichvinhphuc.gov.vn) and developed a multilingual tourism portal (vinhphuctourism.gov.vn) in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The center has also promoted Vinh Phuc tourism through social media platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, TikTok and Instagram. Additionally, it has built a database for online tourism promotion, including videos, images, electronic publications and partner directories.

The center is also responsible for producing promotional publications, materials, videos, souvenirs, keychains, branded logos, packaged USB drives that promote Vinh Phuc tourism, and documentaries and videos on Vinh Phuc tourism to broadcast on national television channels like VTV.

An official from the center said, with the expansion and diversification of promotion channels, Vinh Phuc’s tourism sector has made progress. Many destinations and tourism products of the province are becoming increasingly known to tourists. Service quality has been continuously improved to better meet tourists' demand.

Tourist arrivals to Vinh Phuc have steadily increased over the years. The province welcomed more than 2.85 million visitors in the first quarter of 2025, up 11% year on year, including 26,500 international arrivals. Total tourism revenue was estimated to have reached VND1.1 trillion, up 10% year on year.

The Vinh Phuc Investment Promotion and Business Support Center will continue to adopt innovative solutions to improve the quality of tourism promotion and marketing activities, with a strong emphasis on effectively applying digital platforms to these efforts.
