"Hello World Cup 2006" Live Coverage on VTC

“Hello World Cup 2006” is the theme of a live coverage to be telecast at 20.00, June 4, 2006 by VTC1, in cooperation with Power PR Co., remarking the debut for a series of exciting activities of the special sport event.

 

The programme will come live from Hanoi and Berlin, Germany, with the participation of famous Vietnamese football players, football commentators such as Quang Huy, journalists, and singers such as Doan Trang, Minh Quan and a dance troupe. The programme, set up under the form of an art performance, shows an animated atmosphere to welcome the World Cup in streets of Vietnam as well as in many other countries, and provides the event’s forecasts of commentators before start. Everybody, with no distinction of class, age, sexism and ethnic groups, are eager for the game.      

 

Especially, Vietnamese TV audiences will also have chances to see sideline stories in Germany before the kick-off on June 9, welcoming preparations and reception of fans and international visitors in the country, and many others. The programme will include point of view exchanges between three generations of Vietnam’s footballers with the special guests of Nguyen Trong Giap, Nguyen Si Hien and Nguyen The Anh.
