Israel Telecom Mission to Vietnam

An Israel telecom delegation comprising of 12 leading companies and the biggest ever has visited Vietnam. In three days (August 22-24), Israeli companies have met with related authorities and companies of Vietnam namely VNPT, Vietel, EVN, Hanoi Telecom, FPT, etc. Many of them are already doing business in Vietnam and wishing to expand the cooperation such as RAD, ECI, Comverse, Alvarion, etc.

 

Israel plays an important role in the development of high tech telecommunication in the world market. It has 580 high-tech telecom companies including 280 companies engaged in export market with turnover in 2005 of US$2.9 billion in equipment and over US$1 billion in software and service. Presently, Israel is ranking first in hi-tech companies per capita and second in the number after Silicon valley.
