29 Provinces and Cities to be Audited in 2007
The State Auditing will audit reports State balancing, funding and properties in 29 provinces and cities in 2007, three localities fewer than in 2006, said State Auditing Chief Vuong Dinh Hue.
However, the auditing scale is much bigger as a focus will be given to a comprehensive auditing of State budget, cash and assets of Ho Chi Minh City, which accounts for around 30 per cent of State budget revenues and more than 10 per cent of expenditures of localities.
The announcement of auditing plans will become annual activity from 2007 by the State Auditing to facilitate the examination and supervision of the State Auditing by the people.
