PM Okays Adding US$20Mln to Upgrade National Highway No1
Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has agreed to provide an additional US$20 million for phase 3 of National Highway No1 upgrade, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The PM also approved raising the bidding offer of roughly US$10.6 million to US$27 million for domestic contractors.
PM requested that the State Bank of Vietnam send an official written notification on the added loan and readjusted bidding offer level for the project to the World Bank, and complete all the adjusted procedures of the credit agreement.
Dung authorized the Transport Ministry to approve the added plans of 50-km provincial road connected to the work. '
