One More U.S. Airline Opens Air Route to Vietnam

The U.S.-based Delta Airlines on June 1 operated its first flight connecting the U.S. to Ho Chi Minh City.
 
Delta will fly between HCM City and its Tokyo hub where passengers can make connections to nine U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, Portland, Seattle and San Francisco.
 
The airline launched an office in Ho Chi Minh City in preparation for the daily service between the U.S. and Ho Chi Minh City.
 
Delta Airlines has become the third U.S. airlines providing flights to Vietnam besides United Airlines and American Airlines.
 
It also selected the East Sea Travel & Air Service Group as its general sales agent for passengers and Indo Trans Logistics company for cargo in Vietnam. (Youth, Young People)
