Vietnam's Gas Pipelines Supply 3.4B Cu.m of Dry Gas in Jan-May

Gas pipelines in Vietnam reportedly supplied nearly 3.4 billion cu.m of dry gas in the first five months of this year, up 8.6 per cent on-year and meeting 42 per cent of the target set for the whole year, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
 
Of the sum, the Nam Con Son gas pipeline supplied 2.319 billion cu.m, the Rang Dong-Bach Ho gas pipeline provided 543 million cu.m and the PM3-Ca Mau pipeline with 500 million cu.m.
 
During the period, Vietnam produced 7.3 million metric tons of crude oil in the first five months of this year, up 19.9 per cent on year, said the General Statistics Office (GSO).
 
This year, PetroVietnam has targeted to produce 24 million tons of oil equivalents from 16 million tons of crude oil and condensate and 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas during this year. (CPV, Vietnam & World Economy)
